State Bank of India (SBI)-Chicago, in association with the Federation of Indian Association (FIA)-Chicago, held a Customer Connect session in Schaumburg on March 21.
The event, hosted at the National India Hub, aimed to deepen engagement with the Indian-American community while providing insights into banking and investment options.

SBI-Chicago CEO RK Jha attended the session along with the SBI team, alongside FIA-Chicago president Hemant Patel, trustee Kanti N. Patel, Harish Kolasani, Rajesh Patel, Rakesh Malhotra, vice president Joy (Dipen) Shah, executive Amar Upadhyay, director Bhavesh Patel, Jayantibhai Oza, and other community leaders.

SBI’s CD offerings drew notable attention, with participants showing interest in their competitiveness in the current market.
The session also included an interactive segment where attendees raised queries and received guidance tailored to their financial needs, particularly regarding managing assets across the United States and India. Several participants initiated account openings during the event, reflecting strong engagement.

The program concluded with a focus on SBI-Chicago’s role in providing banking solutions to the community and FIA-Chicago’s efforts to facilitate connections between institutions and the Indian-American diaspora.
